About us
A daytime social club for grown-ups.
The homepage tells you what we do. The manifesto tells you how we behave. This page is the thing HR-ish people ask for: vision, mission, values. One page, no org chart.
A Montreal where making a real friend as an adult feels casual again.
Whether you're 22 and trying to escape the same three faces at the library, or 38 and realizing you haven't made a new friend in five years — it got harder. We think that is a design problem, not a vibe problem. Design problems can be fixed.
Run recurring daytime events that turn strangers into teammates on purpose, and keep doing it until it sticks.
Teams, games, sweat, daylight, phones down. Same format, different challenges. The tenth event is better than the first. The hundredth is the thing.
Five things we will not trade away.
Daylight
We start at 2 PM instead of ending at 2 AM. The sun is the headliner.
Small beats scale
Twenty people who remember each other's names beat two hundred who don't. We'd rather do 10 great events a year than 100 mid ones.
Sweat is the path
You learn more about a stranger across a tug-of-war rope than across three rounds of "so what do you do?"
Kind, not nice
Real invites, real feedback, real boundaries. Nice is a shape; kind is a substance.
Show up
Eighty percent of it. The rest is mostly logistics.
That's the one-pager. If you want the longer version, the other docs are waiting.
